Peripheral Nerve Surgery
Surgery on the nerves outside the brain and spine (the peripheral nerves) is most common for carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome (also called ulnar neuropathy). In these conditions the nerve becomes trapped or compressed in a natural tunnel in the arm or hand causing numbness, tingling and pain.
